Today I rebooted my computer after a accumulating some updates in the last days with Fedora 20, and There are some threads in the Ubuntu forums on this problem: Can’t use multitouch and can’t disable it either. Before I had working touchpad tap as click, two finger scrolling with stick which was worked out off box. At least zlps a Firefox window typing this, and the editor LyX, I can type with one hand and brush the touchpad all I want and the point where I am typing “stays put”.

The patch I mentioned before gives you that right scroll element. I’ve been running it with no problems so far.
